lovers in reverse is the musical alias of singer-songwriter Casey El. Their music is an eclectic fusion inspired by ambient rock, dreamy pop & general angst. Together with their band of Youngstown-area musicians (Blake Maurice on drums, Jett Ventresco on Bass, Nicholas DeWalt on Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals & Tim Dodge on lead guitar), Casey’s soulful vocals & poetic lyrics bring the music to life. lovers in reverse ultimately comes together to make any weirdo feel less alone in their minds.
